Vorarlberger Medienhaus is located in Schwarzach (Vorarlberg, Austria) and was established 60 years ago. The company’s flagship newspaper “Vorarlberger Nachrichten” has been awarded “Newspaper of the Year” in 2006 for its innovations at the World Newspaper Congress in Moscow.
Austria.com, part of VM Group, started very early to develop regional Internet portals and led them to top players in Austria. Teleport, another VM company, is the No. 1 Broadband Internet and Telecom provider in the region and holds a WiMAX license.
In CEE, there has been rapid expansion in Hungary, Romania and Ukraine. Business models and products are in line with the Austrian parent company’s practice.
In Germany we own “Quoka“, the largest group of classified newspapers. Its Internet portal, quoka.de, is one of the major classified websites in the country.
